    Sana Kisan Agricultural Cooperative Society Ltd., Jabdi, is currently located in Ward No. 4 of Lalbandi Municipality, in the north-central part of Sarlahi District (Janakpur Zone). The municipality is bordered by Ishworpur Municipality to the east, Hariwan Municipality to the west, Marin (Sindhuli District) to the north, and Haripur Municipality to the south. The municipality has a total population of 66,411, comprising 33,035 males and 33,376 females. Chhetris and Brahmins account for 45 percent of the total resident population. The demographic composition includes 5% Chaudhary Tharu, 7% Dalit, and 43% others (such as Tamang, Magar, Koiri, Sah, Newar, etc.). Ninety percent of the total population residing in this municipality follows Hinduism, while 10% adhere to other religions. Major festivals celebrated here include Dashain, Deepawali, Chhath, and Phagu Purnima. The literacy rate in the area stands at 73.7%. In terms of development and infrastructure, this municipality appears to be at a moderate level. All wards within the municipality are equipped with electricity, gravel roads, and drinking water taps (or tube wells), and the area is connected to the Mahendra Highway. The educational sector comprises 48 schools, including secondary, lower secondary, and primary levels. Facilities include the municipal office, an agriculture branch, a sub-post office, a health post, a milk collection center, and 25 local clubs.
        Guided by cooperative principles and led by 26 shareholders, the organization initiated its institutional development program in 2051 BS under the Small Farmers Development Project of Agricultural Development Bank Ltd. (Haripur). It was subsequently registered at the District Cooperative Office, Malangwa, on 2052/09/10 in accordance with the Cooperative Act 2048, and management was transferred on 2053/03/30.
